Make a Difference.

What We Do.

Since 1992, we have led the effort to help people get back on there feet through values and spiritual principles…“One day at a time”

We understand that time is needed for change in most cases. Our program consists of three phases with the duration of 3-18 months. LATC offers a full and comprehensive range of recovery classes which includes, but is not limited to, Voluntary Work Therapy, Spiritual Growth, Personal Growth meetings, DDA meetings (dual-diagnosis) and Inner-Child Development.

OUR GOAL

Phil 3:14 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

  • We are a Faith-Based Residential Program that uses the 12-Step Recovery Program for the addict/alcoholic and the Holy Bible as a means to build character along with personal growth.

  • With this in mind our goal is to help them become productive members of society through drug counseling, 12 Step AA group networking, and personal growth meetings, because being disciplined is a key factor in how they work their program and succeed.

  • You can be clean and sober, but if you are not willing to change your attitude and way of thinking, you diminish your chances of success.

  • Abstinence + Change = Recovery, which 5% is drug/alcohol usage and the other 95% is how you think.

OUR APPROACH

TOTAL MAN CONCEPT

TOTAL MAN CONCEPT

We believe that the Total Man Concept is the basis for recovery of drugs/alcohol abuse. The concept involves treating abuse problems as a threefold disease.

  • Physical Dependency

  • Mental Breakdown

  • Loss of Spiritual Values

If these concepts are addressed caringly and with daily application, we believe that development will bring about a lasting recovery and self-sufficiency.

Our successes have proven that addressing the Spiritual Man is essential to recovery.  Spiritual growth and awareness go hand-in-hand with clean and sober living.

We network with a 12-Step recovery program using the Holy Bible as the basis of client development.
